Today's my last day to run around and get those last gifts and my groceries for Christmas, so I'll bless you with one of my favorite recipes for holiday get-togethers, especially New Year's Eve. Hopefully I'll be able to snap some pic's around the house in the next couple of days.
If you've been reading the blog for awhile, you'll remember one of my priorities in our bedroom remodel was to be able to move the room around. Well, I'm happy to report we accomplished that goal & all the others with the big project! I'm enjoying this room so much, I decided I'd share it for Christmas before the rest of the house (and maybe I'm still finishing up the other areas:)
The Christmas decorating was basically done but I realized I hadn't placed anything in the middle of our kitchen table for the season. I like something simple that can easily be removed from atop the placemats before setting the table for meals.
Metal garbage cans are definitely a thing of the past...maybe that's why I'm drawn to their ribbed, galvanized patina. Of course, whenever we separate items, they become more useful and appealing. This project is a great example!
