It may still be white outside, but we're bringing on the color inside! Of course for March, we need green! And we couldn't help but add the color of sunshine to get that green growing!
Real flowers are but a glint in the gardener's eye right now, but Liz's paper flowers were such a huge hit last month, that we asked her to grow a bunch more! She had a blast with all different types of vintage and new papers and added buttons, springs, snaps, and corks to jazz them up! Pick your own boquet, or choose one of our vases already made up for you.
Raelee's beautiful paintings of flowers get us in the mood for spring too!
Speaking of Spring...Cheryl loves the idea of Spring Cleaning!
We've got aprons to wear, jars to put your cleaning supplies in, colorful clothespins (I use them for chip bags), and of course Mrs. Meyers and Spic n' Span!
The big meltdown has begun, and the birds are chirping for spring! Birds, nests, eggs and feathers in pretty blues and greens are sure signs of early spring.
Don't you just love the bench we had made out of an antique headboard and footboard? We also have an adorable kid size version that would be great to photograph a little flower girl in!
I know I'm ready to put away the winter clothes, so we decided to get in the mood and do a vintage fashion show! We put the dressing room together-even a Victoria's Secret loveseat, but we came up a little short on the clothes! We decided to invite an expert to come up with some era-friendly inspirations, and Laura, the owner of "Circa Vintage" in Wayzata graciously obliged!
Thanks, Laura, for putting some fun outfits together for our Spring Vintage Fashion Show theme! Love your fun shop-of course we're partial to all things vintage!
Spring brings all things new, and we have so many new items this month! Here is a glimpse of everything new and spring-y!
We've been anticipating this book-a-zine packed with ideas from Ki Nassauer of Junk Market. There was only 1 issue last year-this year there's only 2! Pick up your copy-it'll take you awhile to digest all the goodies in here!
We found a mother and her 11 year old daughter that make these pretties! Perfect for a little surprise-or of course for yourself!
A new purse for spring, a springy candle, or a small things "Found" necklace?
A hand stamped piece of vintage flatware or a hand-poured candle in a vintage sherbet?
It's not too early to pick up an Easter card, and how about some Divine Twine in spunky springy colors?
We had so much fun pulling this month together. Hope you come and visit us and pretend that spring is here!
We're open Thursday-Saturday 9-5 and Sunday 12-5
