We sold so many Ball Jar candles this past weekend, I thought I'd show some examples to our readers that never get to come to our store! They're so simple and easy, and you can add them to your decorating anywhere!
Grab a quart-size mason jar with the narrower neck. Get it nice and sparkly clean with this special recipe. Find a votive candle holder that has tapered sides ( Michaels, JoAnn's, Target).
Fill your jar with something Christmas-y. We love these vintage-looking stick candycanes from good old WalMart. Vintage Christmas bulbs look sparkly and colorful. Simple Epsom salt looks just like snow and is so cheap in the pharmacy area! Once you have your desired filling, set your votive holder with a fresh votive candle in the neck of the jar. Finish off your project with some cute ribbon or rick rack around the neck of the jar.
Either singly, grouped on a tray with fresh greens , or lined up down the center of your farm table...oh so simple...oh so cute!
Thank you for this how to. I am retired and have little money, these will make great inexpensive gifts for friends and family. I think I will make one for my grandaughters teacher. They always get enough teacher ornaments!
