The things that make your heart go pitter patter. When I saw all these drawers, I knew they needed to come home with me.
I recently acquired four sections of parts bins that came from a hardware store in central Minnesota. Each section is different with its own uniqueness.
They are currently pictured in their rough state, just begging to be brought back to life.
This section is home to more than 200 drawers! A crafter's organization dream come true. Could only snap a small section of it, it's surrounded by other treasures in our garage. The construction of this one is solid wood. The drawers are metal with wood fronts and backs.
There are two sections that are quite similar, the drawers just differ in size. This pic shows a few drawers that must belong to the other section, as they don't quite fit the slot.
This section is first in the line up to have new life breathed into it. It will be getting a new back, sides and top, some purposeful sanding and a few coats of poly to let its true beauty shine through.
The interior is galvanized metal with wood dividers.
Thankfully it's a beautiful day, because there is work to be done.
Here's the finished 273 drawer unit(minus a few drawers). It was like putting Humpty Dumpty back together again. It will make some crafter very happy to have a really organized craft space.

Those are sooo cool, I'm thinking you & I should each keep one...oops, sorry customers...did I say that in public? Unfortunately, I'd have to add on to my house to keep one-guess parting with cool stuff is part of the job:(

They are really cool and probably a once in a lifetime find, but like you I'd need to add space in the house, or delete another piece of furniture. Parting with awesome pieces is part of the job.
