September Occasional

This September Occasional marks our 5 year anniversary! So we decided to turn our entry groupings into a Happy Birthday to Patina General party! We used our signature colors, plus a little orange for fall, and mingled in all the wonderful textures we love: patinaed metal, weathered wood, painted furniture, and cute dishes, of course! We'll have birthday treats and lemonade all weekend to celebrate!

The words on Jodi's pillow are the perfect reflection of the last 5 years. We're thankful for families that have supported us, for all the friends we've made through this business, for all those who have been generous of their junk, and of course for faith that has supported and guided us through it all. It's a celebration weekend!

September sunshine and fall colors and textures abound this month. We love the season change!

Fall's gorgeous colors of gold, orange, olive green, burnt red, along with black, brown and metallics mingle throughout. We've got some beautiful furniture items from large to medium to update your home for a new season. And wonderful, unique accessories to transition the season.

Gathering the fall harvest inspired us to celebrate the Farm Kitchen. Roosters, enamelware, wood bowls and vintage utinsels with warm reds and golds, along with black harken cozy farmhouse Saturdays, putting up the summer veggies.

And of course, school is starting again, to the excitement of some, and dread to others. We've got a whole bevy of great pull-down maps, globes, apples and lunchboxes, along with a few lockers that would be much more fun used at home than school.

And to tantalize our sense of smell, we'll be burning Barb's Spiced Apple candle. She also brought her wonderful bags of Orange Spice Potpourri, which just makes us smile every time we take a whiff!

Last month, we launched a new On-line store. We're filling it with all the new fall-themed items. For first dibs before the brick and mortar opens, check it out Tuesday at 9pm-Wednesday at 9pm.
