Junky Jewelry

I am imprisoning myself today in my closet. I will arm myself with my vacuum, some nice smelling Mrs. Myers spray and paper towels, and either some 80's rock or Christmas music on Pandora. The insanity must stop before I can move into a new season. I cannot see the floor.

But...my jewelry display always looks pretty and organized. And I realized as I looked at this one under-control feature in my closet, that on most days I am a walking advertisement for my store and the lovely ladies that make jewelry for us, Barb and Cheryl.

This past weekend, I added the last season I needed of vintage stamp necklaces to round out all four seasons:

Bambi's in the spring, Lady Liberty in the summer, Mr. Squirrel (the newest member of the family), and Christmas Holly for the Holidays. Not that I may not add more...because Cheryl keeps tempting me by making new ones...

Barb luckily had a "Vintage" tag style necklace in her array that has a funky, chain-style chain that I actually wear with a lot of Cheryl's longer ball chain necklaces. Anyone remember Mr. T from the 80's sitcom? I'm not there yet.

I have a collection of "L" necklaces-3 to be exact. One is a scrabble letter L, the black and yellow from another vintage game, and the long L from a church memo board. I also love that I can layer on whatever junky items I find: keys, watch gears, latches, hinges, etc. It's kind of fun to wear what I love, and gives my a talking opportunity when people comment.

The online store loads now! I used to have problems getting it to load on my iPad and iPhone but it seems to be working now! I love getting to take a peak between sales!
