The sun has set on Patina General in Buffalo. We had a great weekend of clearing out, and customers had fun with the rock bottom prices. It was kind of different being at the other end of "making piles". A lot of dealers and other customers went home with great projects, whether it was our backdrop fabrics and trims for children's clothes in Africa, or furniture and hardware in the rough that will be get repurposed and sold.
I was once again amazed at the loyalty of our customers. It made my heart smile at what we've built over these last 5 1/2 years. A place where people could get their creative tanks filled, their inspirational juices flowing, and be in a place where they felt cared for.
I thought I'd share our poster we had up at our last Occasional, asking customers to send us off with some special memory or goodbye sentiment. I had a good cry the other night reading over them all and thinking about all the special people we've touched through this store...
Thanks, also, for the sentiments written in our comments and on our FB page. We so appreciate them.
We're trying to catch up on life from the blur of these last 2 weeks, but we'll be back to normal posting of our projects and prettiness later on in the week!
I going to miss seeing two of my favorite shop keeper. Your shop was one of the reason I came to Buffalo once a month!!
Anyway, I know you had your sale last weekend, did you sale everything? If not are you going to have another sale? I'm really interested in the flatware if you have any left.
Thanks,
Pam Craven

Thanks, Pam. We will definitely miss our regular customers:( We did sell a lot last weekend; everything else is going to Cheryl or my houses, & will be sold at garage sales, Craig's, etc. The flatware was heading to Cheryl's in Sartell. Maybe she can send you a heads up when she's doing it.
