
When I went to my client's home to assemble the drawer memory boxes, I really didn't know what I would want to use to affix the wide variety of items that would create the 3D collages. One of my favorite chameleon, decorating staples that Mr. Fix-it makes for me are these little tart mold pedestals. I've seen quite a few larger versions out there in blogdom, but think these little guys are still pretty original...which is saying a lot in this T.M.I. (too many ideas), Pinterest world we live in.

Hope you all had a Merry Christmas! We're having a typical day-after, crash-and-burn day...still in my P.J.'s at 5 pm, and snacking on leftovers all day, while ignoring the last batch of dirty dishes in the sink. But since it's been too busy of a week to even blog, thought I'd share with you the "little" project we've been busy with...a dollhouse for my 3 1/2 year old niece.

It's becoming a summer tradition that Happy Girl and a friend host a party for their group of girls. The preparations are of course, just as much fun for them as the actual party. Last year they had a campfire party in the evening. This year they hosted an afternoon ice cream party in the heat of the day.
