When I went to my client's home to assemble the drawer memory boxes, I really didn't know what I would want to use to affix the wide variety of items that would create the 3D collages. And when I'm somewhere other than home, I like to bring absolutely everything I may need. I thought I'd show you what was in my bag of tricks on this installation day. Maybe some of these will be new to you:

I love decorating with "JUNK" all year round, but fall, rusty metal, and primitive wood just seem to go hand in hand.

It all started with a little visit to a Home Goods I hadn't been to before to pick up "a few things". The Eden Prairie location had a lot more decorating items than I'd ever seen at the Plymouth location. And I came across an isle with curtains...quite a few of them.

My kiddos are too big for fun themed birthday parties, so guess I have to live vicariously through my sister's chubby-cheeked littles. Spring is busting out all over outside. The birds are chirping, the daffodils popping up their leaves and the buds are bursting. I love Spring! My house got the Spring makeover before Easter, and I'm thoroughly enjoying all the bright, happy colors surrounding me! My word for the year is "NEW", and I look at it every time I'm at the kitchen sink, while I ponder and pray over what that word will mean in my life for 2016.
